    Grille 39, located inside the Renaissance Hotel is an upscale fine dining restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner to hotel guests and the community.     Currently we are hiring a full time LINE COOK to work second shifts, 3pm – 11pm.

    *Benefits including Medical, Dental, 401k with matching, and Marriott Travel discounts offered upon completion of 90 day waiting period, and wage increase at 90 days and 1 year!

    Sign on bonus is paid through payroll upon completion of 90 days of service.

     

    Line cook Responsibilities are as follows:

    • Set -up the line for a fine dining meal experience.

    • Prepare food, measure and mix ingredients, wash, peel, cut and shred fruits and vegetables, trimming and cutting meat, poultry and fish for use.

    • Operate a variety of kitchen equipment including mixing machines, choppers, slicers, steamers, grille, broilers, ovens, etc.

    • Controls food waste, loss and usage.

    • Maintains standards of sanitation and cleanliness of kitchen, restaurant utensils, equipment and the kitchen area.

    • Cooks orders per guest ticket from server.

    • Assists in the preparation, production and service of food for banquet and associate functions.

    • Able to move items weighting up to 50 pounds and is able to stock items and shelves above eye level and able to stand for 8 consecutive hours

    Requirements

    Must have at least 2 years experience cooking in an upscale kitchen.

    ServSafe certifcation preferred but not required

    Must have reliable transportation
