    Currently the Renaissance Hotel is seeking individuals who are looking for a career in hotel operations, specifically the rooms division as a Front Desk Manager. This type of position is an excellent stepping stone role that may lead to becoming an Assistant General Manager and then a General Manager. As a department manager you will receive all the tools and be taught the basics for running an operation at a WHG hotel. From there your performance will lead you on your journey for growth.
    Front Desk Managers are responsible for working weekends, holidays and occasionally the 3rd shift.
    Job Responsibilities:

    • Supervise the daily operations of the Guest Services department always keeping Guest Satisfaction as the number one priority. This includes the front desk, night audit, club lounge, and bell departments.
    • Supervise your team of associates which includes training, coaching, counseling, scheduling, and motivating your associates.
    • Ensure the department meets all requirements of operation by WHG and Marriott International.
    • Control operational expenses including labor to always be in line with budget.
    • Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction by creative problem solving, anticipating needs, and looking for ways to Surprise and Delight.

    • Do you have at least 2 years of experience in a management position at a full service hotel?
    • Are you available to work weekends and holidays?
